"Ruean Yot Borom Mangkhalanusornee" at the Silp Phaendin Museum, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, is open for free viewing throughout August 2026, from 09:30–15:30, in tribute and reverent gratitude. Come and admire the beauty of Thai artistry, regarded as a masterpiece created by the artisans of the Sirindhorn Institute, the Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techniques of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
"Ruean Yot Borom Mangkhalanusornee" is yet another work by Thai master craftspeople that is truly well worth a visit. It is located within the grounds of the Silp Phaendin Museum, Ko Koet Subdistrict, Bang Pa-in District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province — a masterpiece by the artisans of the Sirikit Institute that embodies the wisdom and refinement of contemporary Thai art. Admission is free throughout August 2026, from 09:30–15:30. Visitors are kindly requested to view only the surrounding area of the Ruean Yot Borom Mangkhalanusornee and the ground-floor area. The upper area is reserved for the operations of the Sirikit Institute.
"Ruean Yot Borom Mangkhalanusornee" is a structure built entirely in the traditional Thai spired-pavilion style. It was constructed by the Sirikit Institute, the Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techniques of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, as a dedication to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great on the occasion of honouring several members of the Royal Family on multiple auspicious occasions, namely:
- His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great: the 70th Anniversary of His Accession to the Throne on 9 June 2016, and the Auspicious Occasion of His 90th Birthday on 5 December 2017.
- Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother: the Auspicious Occasion of Her 7th Cycle Birthday (84th Birthday) on 12 August 2016.
- His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn (then Crown Prince): the Auspicious Occasion of His 5th Cycle Birthday (60th Birthday) on 28 July 2012.
- Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn: the Auspicious Occasion of Her 5th Cycle Birthday (60th Birthday) on 2 April 2015.
- Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Walailak, Akharajajakumari, Princess of the Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand: the Auspicious Occasion of Her 5th Cycle Birthday (60th Birthday) on 4 July 2017.

His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great bestowed the name "Ruean Yot Borom Mangkhalanusornee," meaning "a spired pavilion built as a commemorative tribute on the occasion of the most auspicious celebrations." Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother graciously commanded Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to proceed in her place to cut the ribbon and officially open the pavilion on 10 June 2016.
Originally, this pavilion stood to the east of the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall in the Dusit district of Bangkok. It is an open hall crowned with nine spires — the greatest number of spires ever recorded in the architectural history of the Rattanakosin era. It was constructed from durable materials that are almost entirely metal alloy, with gilding, mirror inlay, and painted decoration on various parts. It was dismantled in 2023 for relocation and installation at the Silp Phaendin Museum, Ko Koet Subdistrict, Bang Pa-in District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.
At the Silp Phaendin Museum — a museum of the Sirikit Institute that exhibits significant and exquisitely valuable artworks of the nation, created by the craftspeople of the Sirikit Institute at Chitralada — examples of works on display include the Phutthan Niello-gold Throne, a replica of the Royal Barge Sri Suphannahong, the Busabok Mala throne canopy, the Himmapan forest embroidered fabric screen, and the carved-wood panels depicting the tales of Sang Thong and Himmapan, among others. These were previously exhibited under the name "Silp Phaendin Exhibition" at the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall before being moved to this new museum, located in Ko Koet Subdistrict, Bang Pa-in District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The museum currently offers free admission from 4 February to 29 November 2026, from 10:00–15:30, every Wednesday through Sunday (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
