Wife Cries, Makes the Call! "Leo Put – Tar Barbie" Rush to Find "Ray" — "He's Seen Enough of This World, He'll Get to See the Next" (Clip)

"Leo Put – Tar Barbie" reveal the moment they learned the devastating news that "Ray McDonald" had died in his sleep — believed to have been caused by lack of rest and overwork, with no known underlying conditions. They recount the moment his wife called in tears to break the news, on the very first day of school for his child. A message to their friend: he hasn't gone anywhere — he's simply changed the way he travels. He's seen so much of this world; now he'll get to see the next one.

The moment they learned of the passing of their close friend "Ray McDonald," the two best friends "Leo Put" and "Tar Phaopol Thephassadin Na Ayutthaya," known as "Tar Barbie," immediately rushed to Ray's residence in the Phatthanakon area, after his wife called them in tears with the tragic news. Leo Put and Tar Barbie said they believe it may have been caused by Ray McDonald getting too little rest and overworking himself. Now, they say, their friend is finally resting — and has set off to explore the next world.

Leo Put: "We found out more or less at the same time as everyone else. When I heard this morning, I rushed straight over. I learned that Ray had fallen asleep and never woke up. Personally, I'd guess it was lack of rest. Ray was the kind of person who, the moment he had a little free time, wanted to go out, wanted to travel — because travel had become such a part of his life. I think it was probably lack of rest, overworking himself too much. As far as I know, he had no underlying conditions. He was perfectly fine.

I was very shocked. At first, when his wife called, I thought maybe they'd had a quarrel — she was sobbing. Couples do have their spats. But then when I listened more carefully, I realised Ray was gone. I was shocked and rushed out right away. We'd see each other from time to time — during the periods when we'd take a break from traveling, everyone would go their own way. Ray got to spend time with his kids. Today was even the first day of school for his child. He got to be with his kids. His friends didn't want to interrupt — we let him go out and enjoy himself with them.

I found out at around seven-thirty. His wife was crying. I didn't know what was happening — Maem (Ray's wife) doesn't normally call me that early in the morning. If someone calls me early like that, it would usually be Ray himself. He was an early riser — up by three or four in the morning. So I answered and rushed over. I'm an early riser myself. Ray looked just like he'd fallen asleep."

Tar: "Good — at least he got some sleep for once. Normally he never slept."

Leo Put: "He was always thinking about work. Now he gets to rest."

Confirming he had no underlying conditions whatsoever — Leo Put: "He had none. And even if he did, he wouldn't have told anyone. Ray was a person with enormous energy — always wanting to do this, do that, especially when it came to traveling. Sometimes when he was tired, he wouldn't say so, or he wouldn't show it much."

Tar: "As far as I know, he had no underlying conditions."

Leo Put: "In my case, I have some — but only because I went to see a doctor and found out. Sometimes people have underlying conditions but don't know what they have. A lot of young people have high blood pressure or high cholesterol without realising it. If you don't get a health check-up, by the time you find out you're sick and need medication, it might already be too late. Everyone needs to take care of themselves."

Wishing him luck on this new journey — he's seen so much of this world, and now he'll get to see what the next one is like — Leo Put: "I believe Ray's journey hasn't ended. He's simply changed the way he travels. Ray will keep traveling, in the way of someone who wants to see everything, who wants to know everything. He's seen so much of this world — now he'll get to go and see what the next world is like. I just want to tell him: travel safely, good luck, and do get some rest."

Tar: "I don't know what to say. You and I — we know what's in each other's hearts. Everything between me and him — it's like we saw each other all the time. Happy, man. That's all."

Leo Put: "I believe he's worried about his kids, his mother, and his wife — that's for sure. After that, probably work. He worried about himself the least. That's just the kind of person he was."

Tar: "He'd been exhausted for a long time, you know. Ray was really worn out."

Leo Put: "In the last several years, we traveled a lot together, had a lot of moments together, laughed a lot together. There were arguments here and there, as friends do, but there was never any real resentment between us. It's fair to say it was a pretty good final chapter."

Tar: "I'm glad we got to work together again in the last four or five years."

Leo Put: "He got to come back and play with his kids. It was right when we were taking a break from traveling."
