The relationship between Lisa of BLACKPINK and Frédéric Arnault, heir to a luxury brand empire, has become a hot topic once again after Chinese media reported that the two may have ended their relationship — one that had been closely watched for nearly three years — with rumors also swirling that a "third party" may be involved.
The young woman internet users have zeroed in on is Eileen Gu, a gold-medal Olympic freestyle skier and prominent model. However, Gu herself has already posted a message that has been interpreted as a denial of the rumors.
According to reports from Chinese entertainment media, claims have been made that Lisa and Frédéric's relationship may have come to an end as early as April, after fans noticed that Frédéric had stopped liking Lisa's posts on social media, while some members of the Arnault family were also said to have unfollowed the singer's accounts.
Some reports have further claimed that Lisa may have discovered that Frédéric had been acting close with another woman, and that she had attempted to preserve the relationship before ultimately deciding to walk away upon feeling that the other party had no desire to reconcile.
However, none of these allegations have been directly confirmed by either Lisa or Frédéric.

The main reason was that Eileen has appeared at the same events as Frédéric and the Arnault family on multiple occasions, including fashion weeks, brand dinners, and art exhibitions, with photos also showing the two conversing and sharing a table at various brand after-parties.
These images led some internet users to speculate that Eileen may be the woman who became entangled in Lisa and Frédéric's relationship.
However, as of now, there is no confirmed evidence that Eileen has a romantic relationship with Frédéric, or that she played any role in bringing Lisa and Frédéric's relationship to an end.
Furthermore, Eileen's frequent appearances alongside the Arnault family have a straightforward professional explanation: she works as a brand ambassador for brands associated with the family's business empire, making meetings at fashion, art, and luxury events entirely routine within her line of work.
Then, on the evening of 16 August, Eileen posted a message on social media that was widely interpreted as a direct response to the rumors, writing:
"In a new relationship again?? Why am I always the last one to know everything. Stop making things up."
The message was seen by internet users as a denial that she is dating Frédéric or had any involvement in the alleged breakup.
Lisa and Frédéric first made headlines as a couple in July 2023, after the two were spotted together at a restaurant in France, with a clip circulating that appeared to show Lisa resting her head on Frédéric's shoulder.
