Whose path to the universe would it be? On the evening of 23 August 2026, the entire country found out together, as the final round of the "Miss Universe Thailand 2026" pageant was held at MGI HALL, 6th floor, Bravo BKK shopping centre, Rama 9 Road. The sole winner will travel to the universe as Thailand's representative, competing for the crown at the 75th Miss Universe pageant in Puerto Rico.
Thrilling from the very opening show, all 77 contestants appeared in stunning short dresses and introduced themselves one by one, while the audience was left in awe of the spectacular production — lights, colours, and sound — that "Nawat Itsaragrisil" poured his budget into, true to form for the big boss of the pageant world. Celebrity host "Matthew Dean" then welcomed everyone into a competition that had pageant fans on the edge of their seats throughout.
As the evening drew toward its final stretch, the host announced the Best Seller Award, which went to MUT Udon Thani, while Phuket took the Thailand's Choice Award — both advancing automatically to the Top 20. They were followed by MUT Nakhon Ratchasima, Saraburi, Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Songkhla, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Bangkok, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Pathum Thani, Chiang Mai, Chonburi, Nakhon Phanom, Maha Sarakham, Surat Thani, Nong Bua Lam Phu, and Uthai Thani.
Eyes lit up across the entire hall as the 20 women changed into two-piece swimsuits and walked the stage, earning scores from the judges. The stage was set ablaze when the hottest young artist SVRN (SOVEREIGN) — Por Siwakorn from GLIIDE label — appeared and delivered a special performance he had been rehearsing intensively especially for this night.
The field was then cut to the Top 10, and the women who made it through were no surprise — all the frontrunners were there: MUT Saraburi "Jenny Kochaporn Hopkins", Bangkok "Khanom Tarina Boetes", Udon Thani "Helena Saargal", Pathum Thani "Benedetta Priyapong Lissoni", Nakhon Phanom "Um Nittinatda Grobram", Ubon Ratchathani "Rotmae Manatsawee Nilbualah", Phuket "Nam-ing Sutthida Iadpoo", Ratchaburi "Mukku Thanatchaporn Pankaew", Chiang Mai "Sofia Sasiwararint Assawahiranyakarn", and Chonburi "Bee Ratacha Prasoetpornsak". By this round, the cheering was at full intensity — every one of them is a strong contender and a fan favourite.
The final 10 women then returned to the stage in glamorous evening gowns, elegant and breathtaking, captivating the entire hall, before the competition moved on to the Top 5: MUT Udon Thani "Helena Saargal", Bangkok "Khanom Tarina Boetes", Ubon Ratchathani "Rotmae Manatsawee Nilbualah", Chiang Mai "Sofia Sasiwararint Assawahiranyakarn", and Phuket "Nam-ing Sutthida Iadpoo". The announcement drew resounding screams — every woman who made it to this round was thrilling and spectacular. The Q&A round then put further pressure on the supporters, testing the inner qualities of the contestants that go beyond outer beauty. All five were asked the same question and answered one at a time, while those who had not yet answered wore headphones to prevent them from hearing the others. All five rose to the occasion — overcoming the pressure and excitement, drawing out their full potential in hopes of winning over the judges enough to secure a place in the Top 3.
A moment of memories then arrived: "Vina Pawina Singh", Miss Universe Thailand 2025 and first runner-up of Miss Universe 2025, took to the stage to bid farewell to her title, gracefully passing the crown of honour to the new representative.
As the night grew later, the tension grew greater. The host announced the Top 3 — the women who could take the crown: MUT Phuket "Nam-ing Sutthida Iadpoo", Udon Thani "Helena Saargal", and Bangkok "Khanom Tarina Boetes". Another Q&A round followed, with the same question posed to all three — those who had not yet answered wore headphones so they could not hear their fellow contestants' answers. In this round, whoever answered best could clinch the crown.
Then came the moment that stopped the world and put supporters through the most suspense of the night. At last, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived. The host announced that the title of "Miss Universe Thailand 2026" belonged to frontrunner MUT Bangkok "Khanom Tarina Boetes", who will represent Thailand in the pursuit of the Miss Universe crown at the 75th edition of the pageant in Puerto Rico later this year.
First runner-up went to MUT Phuket "Nam-ing Sutthida Iadpoo".
Second runner-up went to MUT Udon Thani "Helena Saargal".
As for the Best in Swimsuit award, it could only go to one person — MUT Chiang Mai. The "National Costume" award this year went to MUT Surat Thani, Phetchaburi, Bangkok, and Uthai Thani.
