On August 7, a reporter has stated that police at Plai Bang Police Station in Nonthaburi Province received a report of a shooting at Debsirin Nonthaburi School in the Bang Kruai area. The perpetrator was found to be a student. Police have been notified of the incident. Preliminary information indicates that 4–5 people have been injured. Officers are currently at the scene conducting an investigation, and cooperation has been requested to refrain from livestreaming the incident.
The latest update is that 2 people have been killed — both are teachers.
As for the perpetrator, it is understood that he is a Grade 9 (Mathayom 3) student at the school. Preliminary reports indicate that the perpetrator shot himself in the head and is currently undergoing CPR. Teachers, students, and unrelated persons have been evacuated from the school entirely.
