Traffic police under the Royal Initiative Project opened an express route to transport the 186th heart from Wing 604, Don Mueang, to Ramathibodi Hospital in just 14 minutes, delivering it to the medical team on schedule.
Today (16 Aug.), it was reported that on 15 August 2026, at 15:26, the radio center of the Royal Initiative Traffic Police Project notified officers of a mission to transport the 186th donor heart from Wing 604, Don Mueang, for delivery to Ramathibodi Hospital.
Upon receiving the notification, Royal Initiative traffic police moved in to support the mission at Wing 604, Don Mueang, facilitating traffic management and urgently clearing a route for the heart to be transported to Ramathibodi Hospital.
This mission covered the distance from Wing 604, Don Mueang, to Ramathibodi Hospital in just 14 minutes, with the organ successfully delivered to its destination within the designated timeframe.
The Royal Initiative Traffic Police Project expressed gratitude to local traffic police, expressway and tollway traffic police, as well as members of the public who cooperated by giving way, enabling this critical heart transport mission to be completed swiftly and successfully.
