Airports of Thailand (AOT) expects 3.7 million passengers to use its airport facilities during the Songkran Festival in 2026, representing a 2.3% increase from the previous year. The airports are preparing comprehensive services to ensure smooth, convenient and safe travel experiences for all passengers across all its operations.
To accommodate the surge in travelers during Thailand's traditional New Year celebration, AOT is offering free parking at its major airports including Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Phuket and Hat Yai. The airports are implementing seamless service coordination across all systems and facilities to enhance passenger convenience and safety during the peak holiday period.
